Consumer Night Vision Viewers are not worth the purchase, but they are getting close.

Check out this review of two top consumer models after exhaustive research comparing over a dozen models readily available from Amazon. Each model closely compared with significant disadvantages leaves this as a novel purchase. I sent both units back and will wait for new models to arrive.
