Global Rhythm Ensemble - La Leyenda del tiempo (Live at Berklee Valencia)

The Global Rhythm Ensemble, led by Sergio Martinez Díaz, performed “La Leyenda del tiempo” at Centro del Carmen Cultura Contemporánea as part of the 2021 Musaico Festival.

“Leyenda del tiempo,” from Federico Garcia Lorca’s play Así que pasen cinco años, describes the tragedy of the human condition. The piece became popular when flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla released it as the title track of his 1979 album, La leyenda del tiempo. The version performed in the video was composed by Enrique Morente.
