Cosmic Barrel Roll #3: Small Tie Dye Tank Top

Cosmic Barrel Roll #3! For this one I threw a large rubber band over the shirt before rolling it more loosely over the “barrel” so the rubber band would contract when I took it off the barrel turning the rolled tank top into a smaller scrunchier ring. Then, like in #2 i first tied it with sinew then collapsed/folded it futher and wrapped it with fishing line. For the dye application I basically went over some of the string lines with orange and some with a couple different greens then died the fabric dark blue green between the orange and yellow green lines and orange between the dark blue green lines. Then after a couple applications I drenched the whole thing in both orange and dark blue green (it was the last i had mixed up of a batch of dyes for several days earlier…). I think this one might be my favorite so far. I might make one or two more for the next batch so i can try this with a broader color pallet! Thanks for checking out my work!
