Another bike ride early (very early) in the morning, August 28, 2024

Ik ben weer vroeg op pad gegaan om de zonsopkomst mee te maken. Om kwart over 6 zat ik al op de fiets en ben als eerste via de Zuidpolder naar de Ackerdijkse plassen gereden. Ik weet dat de zonsopkomst daar prachtig is te zien en dat bleek ook deze keer weer helemaal waargemaakt te worden. Je gaat een time lapse zien van de zonsopkomst; hierna rij ik door naar Delfgauw waar je onderweg prachtige beelden ziet van een oranje zon die langzaam hoger boven het landschap schijnt. Langs het Virulypad langs het Bieslandsebos zie je prachtige beelden van zonnestrepen als de opkomende zon zich door de boomtoppen vermengd met de nevel die overal aanwezig is. Dit gaat door tot het einde van deze tocht in het Balijbos. Ik hoop dat je ervan gaat genieten. Ik heb dat in ieder geval zeker gedaan. Veel plezier!

I set off early again to experience the sunrise this morning. At a quarter past 6 I got on my bike and cycled via the Zuidpolder to the Ackerdijkse plassen. I know that the sunrise is beautiful to see there and this time that turned out to be true again. You will see a short time lapse of the sunrise; after that I will cycle to Delfgauw where you will see beautiful images of an orange sun that slowly shines higher above the landscape. Along the Virulypad along the Bieslandsebos you will see beautiful images of sun stripes as the rising sun mixes through the treetops with the mist that is everywhere.
