Welding project during this time of social distancing: Recycled a broken hand truck & a kid’s bike into a dually / mono wheel bike trailer. Mono wheel for pulling through narrow trails and paths. Dually so it won’t sink into beach sand. Now I can take my own folding chair anywhere, plus haul cargo. Practically, transforms a bike into a ‘pickup truck’. The hand truck was convertible to a dolly & made of 2 parts. This means the trailer overall length can be extended, able to take long cargo like lumber, canoes, surfboards, etc. I hope to replace the bin with a lockable plastic tote. Test at Boundary Bay dike and Centennial Beach, BC.
