So, this is the pageant that was put on by my primary school, St Leonard's, back in '88. I was in Year 2 then, just 6 years old. :)

It was in celebration of the 175th anniversary of the primary school's founding, and depicted some scenes of major events that have occurred in Britain during the school's long history. Each class took a period of history, with the older children on first, going down to the first year kids at the end.

Some highlights of the show include:
The illustrious reign of Queen Victoria and the introduction of postage stamps
The Great War
The Great Depression
The Second World War
The Beatles!
The Royal Wedding of Charles and Diana. Aww.

I'm in there, obviously. I appear onstage about 2/3rds of the way or so through, playing the part of John Lennon in a Beatles performance. Except at 6yo none of us really knew the words! xD
