Cardinal nesting

Filmed in north Georgia in May

The video starts with the mother feeding two babies (still one egg in nest). WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE 0:34 MARK?

The video cuts at 1:08 to another feeding session. The mother is giving them food but appears to take food from the babies' mouths. Perhaps she is just helping them chew up the food.

At 1:56 you'll see the mother nesting.

At 2:43 you'll hear the mother communicating with another bird. She makes a few calls and a bird responds. The mother then quickly takes off. This is interesting because since filming and editing this video, I can now recognize cardinal call sounds on a regular basis.
