In this video we will learn the different types of brake calipers, as well as their components and operations.

We can distinguish between two types of brake calipers: fixed and floating. Unlike floating calipers, fixed calipers do not move any part of the caliper. In the case of floating brake calipers, when the piston touches the disc, the caliper body moves until the other pad presses on the other side of the brake discs. In addition, floats can be with or without a handbrake mechanism.
