Our VIRTUE: Perseverance™ Black Walnut 14" x 6.5" Snare Drum features a 1/4" steambent solid shell with solid reinforcement rings. This drum is superbly sensitive and speaks with a classic voice that is extremely responsive and enjoys the added clarity and resonance found in steambent drums with brass hoops and vintage-style snare wires. The Walnut shell and asymmetrical round-over top edge add a bit of warmth and control to the tone.

A hand-rubbed satin finish reveals the beautiful timber combined with premium hardware, including ten decorative chrome-over-brass tube lugs, Trick 3-position throw-off, and 2.5mm chrome-over brass (COB) rims. Additional features include Canopus Vintage™ chrome-over-brass snare wires, top-quality stainless steel internal mounting screws, nylon shoulder washers facilitate smooth, accurate tuning and prevent tension rod rattle at lower tensions and high-quality drumheads by Evans to deliver professional results straight away.
