You finally get control of Rean and can explore the train.

23:47 Arriving at the Field Exercise Camp. After the long cutscene setting up, you will have control of Rean. Check your mail and upgrade your gear at the shops.
28:41 You can talk to Sandy at camp to start the quest "Legendary Recipe". You can get some Items for this quest, but you won't finish it till the next day.
