Burnsville Center (Burnsville, MN) - Minnesota's largest dead mall

Century III. Forest Fair Village. If you're a dead mall fan, you're probably familiar with these once magnificent beasts. What does Minnesota have to offer?

Opening in 1977 with two full stories and a large lower level, Burnsville Center was and still is the largest mall south of the Minnesota River and north of Des Moines, IA (ignoring the Iowa malls on the extreme west and east ends of the state). The mall was designed as a large mall for not only Burnsville but all of Southern Minnesota.
