FS2004: Go-around at Heathrow.

Go-around because of unstabilised approach

Project Sunrise - In 2017, Qantas announced plans to take on the final frontier of aviation: direct flights from the east coast of Australia to Europe and New York. We challenged Boeing and Airbus to deliver an aircraft capable of ultra long-haul flying, which would revolutionise Australian air travel and codenamed Project Sunrise for our long history of endurance flying.

Project Sunrise will deliver more direct routes to Australia, significantly reduced point-to-point travel time (up to 4 hours compared with 1-stop flights) and a flying experience second to none – with a cabin interior and service design influenced by medical and scientific research carried out on research flights.

The inaugural flights are scheduled for take-off in mid 2026, starting with Sydney to London and New York.

Although the aircraft used for FS2004 is a Boeing 787, in real life Qantas will be using the Airbus A350-1000 aircrafts for the route
