The Johnson Strings is a family of passionate musicians that tours the US, touching the hearts of thousands of people through music every year, and entertaining countless crowds. Often compared to the Von Trapp Family, the hills really are alive with the Sound of Music, through this family orchestra!

Bordering much of the western edge of the state of Iowa, and extending down into Missouri, the Loess hills are crowned with abundant oak and hickory hardwood forests. Natural prairie carpets the hillside while eagles soar above. The hills are a glorious testimony to the beauty of God’s creation.

Arranger Soon Hee Newbold is an award winning American composer, conductor, musician, and actress. Among her many accomplishments in her notable career, Newbold has worked in entertainment for Walt Disney World, and traveled around the world as a guest composer and conductor. Her works have been performed in many prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall.
