2012年に公開されたkouri様作のフリーホラーチックアドベンチャーゲーム「Ib」は、今年で8周年を迎えられました。お祝いとして、今でも大好きなIbのBGMをピアノで再びアレンジしました。今回はよりオリジナルの音色に忠実に再現することにチャレンジし、収録した楽曲も増えています。どうぞごゆっくりお楽しみください。

19, 20, 21番の曲は私のオリジナルアレンジです。メインキャラクター三人のテーマの曲調を交換して弾いてみました。どうでしょうか?
No. 19, 20 and 21 are my original arrangements of the themes of three main characters with their styles swapped. How do you like them?

本来なら7周年の時に用意したかった動画ですが、間に合わず8周年に滑り込みです。その分楽曲を増やし、楽譜制作を頑張りました。原音をなるべく忠実に拾いつつ、ピアノで弾きやすいような音色を意識しています。
せっかく時間をかけて作ったので、楽譜はたくさん利用していただきたいと思っています。弾きながら「こっちの方がいいな」と思う場合はじゃんじゃん改良を加えて、ぜひ皆さんご自分だけのアレンジをしてみてください。もし動画にしたら是非教えてくださいね! ぜひ聴きに行かせていただきます。

8年前にIbを知ってから、今でもその魅力の底が見えなくて深海を彷徨い続けています。個性的で魅力的なキャラクターたち、独特のグラフィック、あやしくも上品さを醸し出す音楽、ドット絵だからこそ掻き立てられる想像力、飽くことなく何度も繰り返すおかしな美術館の旅。美しさと恐怖、そして切なさが混ざり合い、一生私の心をとらえて離さないでしょう。
作者さんのセンスの塊であるこの素晴らしい作品を、みなさんもぜひ遊んでみてください。

Ib has just had its 8th anniversary and I am (finally) making all the scores for the beautiful sounds of Ib, arranged for piano.

I can hardly believe that it's been already 8 years since I met Ib. This amazing game made by kouri has drawn me into its mysterious world of abyss and never let me go. I am still playing its music on the piano every now and then. Back then I uploaded my piano arrangement video few years ago which is still my favorite, and I'm very happy that many people still come back and listen to it today.

However, the arrangements from 8 years ago was not very true to the original tunes, and also the recording tools I used weren't the best, so I wanted to make a new recording for a long time. Originally I planned to make this compilation to celebrate the 7th anniversary, but well, a year later it finally happened!
For this matter, I also worked on the sheet music for ALL of the BGMs of Ib (finally!). Until now I was satisfied just by playing by ear, but this way I can be more accurate with the notes + try out more arrangements based on them.

Just be reminded that my music sheets won't be 100% true to the original tunes to make the music playable & comfortable to listen to when played on the piano.

I hope you tenjoy my arrangements and that those who need the sheets find them useful. And don't hesitate to make your own arrangements based on these! These are just my interpretation and there are million ways to play the sounds.
