Описание к видео David Bradshaw on Natural Theology in the Orthodox Tradition

Prof. David Bradshaw, session chair, gives an overview of session 37, "Natural Theology in the Orthodox Tradition," presented by the Philosophy of Religion Group at the IOTA Inaugural Conference, Iasi, Romania, 9-12 January 2019.

Alexei Fokin described the basic arguments for the existence of God in patristic and Byzantine theology (2nd–14th centuries). Dionysios Skliris described the forms that natural theology has taken in the thought of eminent Orthodox theologians of the 20th century. Richard Swinburne will present his own inductive arguments for the existence of God and showed that the structure of these arguments for the existence of God is similar to that used by Athanasius and John of Damascus.
