Atmosphere & Ambience

Variety Jones is renowned for its warm, intimate environment paired with highly original yet unfussy Michelin-star dining.

To complement this ambience, sound design was key — music needed to feel premium, yet subtle enough to maintain conversation flow.

Audio Design

Two wall-mounted BeoSound A9 speakers provide beautiful, clear, and crisp sound that can play softly without overpowering the room.

Perfectly suited for a space that thrives on buzz and atmosphere while maintaining an elegant acoustic balance.

A portable BeoSound Balance positioned at the front entrance welcomes guests with soft ambient music, setting the tone from the moment they arrive.

System Integration

Through BeoLink Multiroom, staff can easily stream music from their own devices or the restaurant’s shared system — seamlessly linking one or both A9s for complete sound coverage.

Lighting Automation

Motorised Lutron blinds help close off the busy Dublin streets, adding to the intimacy of the small dining area.

Controlled via wireless Pico keypads, the system ensures simple operation for all staff.

Variety Jones sourced custom blind boxes to conceal the rollers, blending perfectly with the curved window arches — a true chef’s kiss finishing touch.
