What does the Behringer JN-80 synthesizer sound like? It sounds like this!

I am riding the presets at the 2026 NAMM show, and the JN-80 was one of the first that caught my eye. The JN-80 was originally named Neptune-80, but it was apparently changed shortly before the launch. It is a Roland Juno-60 clone.

I spoke with a staff member at the booth and was told that there is no official release date yet (Jan 2026). But I was also informed that the software on the demo unit that I have demoed is 99% done, which includes the 200 factory presets in this video series - only a few bug fixes away from the final production software. But how that translates into a release date is uncertain at this point.

I was also told that the retail price is expected to be around $600.
