How this City Survived Four Years of Siege 🇧🇦

The Siege of Sarajevo, which began in April, 1992 would last almost 4 years, leaving over 11,000 residents of the city dead and even more wounded. During these four years, it was almost impossible to get food, supplies, weapons and people in and out of the city to the free Bosnian territory, and so a tunnel was dug under the Sarajevo airport. This tunnel would end up saving the lives of countless people.
