Today we will be replacing the oil pressure check valve on a sportster 1200 due to wet sumping issues. This bike has had wetsumping issues where the oil tank will drain its contents and fill the crankcase. This causes the engine and oil pump to work harder to pump the excess oil. This is the procedure we used to perform the repair. We do not assume any liability/responsibility for anyone's mishandling of this information.
