From Bangkok, we headed over to Cambodia. This was obviously a first time for us and as backpackers, we were trying to keep expenses under budget. Our train from Bangkok costs us 55 baht (£1.50 approximately). The train ride was around 6 hours stopping at several stops after starting at 5:55 am. The train ride was amazing. Being under budget, it wasn’t disappointing at all with comfortable seats.

We reached Siem Reap around 3 pm in the afternoon that day and had to explore the city before our visit to Ankor Wat next morning.
