SNP take a battering over report that finds they have 'No clear plan to deliver' for the NHS

A fundamental change in how NHS services are provided is “urgently needed”, ministers have been told, with public spending watchdogs warning “difficult decisions” may also need to be made about whether some services can continue to be provided.

A new report from Audit Scotland made clear that without change being made “the NHS is unlikely to be able to meet growing demand”.

Its latest report highlighted the increasing pressures facing Scotland’s health service, including rising costs and the pausing of investment in new facilities.
