Shri Ram helps the local villagers by diverting the direction of the river so that it doesn't destroy their village. Ravan participates in the Swayamvar but fails to lift Lord Shiva's Pinaka bow. He arrives at Mount Kailash to seek answers from Lord Shiva. Later, Shri Ram arrives in the kingdom of Mithila.
