即成院のライブの興奮冷めやらぬ中、
yuiを迎えた14作目のデジタル配信シングルとしてリリース！

昨年、最高気温を記録しそうなぐらいの真夏日の昼下がり、冷房がガンガンにきいた暗い部屋、Kafu Satoh、クレイ勇輝、yuiでレコーディングのためスタジオに入っていた。

「そのコードだったらこんなメロどう？」とハミングするyui
「おお！いいね！」っとギターを奏でるKafuh
「だったらこんな歌詞どうかな？」とクレイ

後日ベースOKP-STAR、キーボードYuji Sugimoto(WEAVER)、
HIDEROW NISHIOKAでそんな勢いで出来た曲に音を重ねていった結果出来たのが「MALIBU COKE」だ。

今作はyuiとクレイユーキーズの共作で、まだ暖かい9月に夏の余韻を感じながら海にいきたくなる曲に仕上がった。yuiとのリリースはこれで3曲目、昨年の7月にリリースした「道」、11月にリリースした「サヨナラSay Goodbye」、今回の「MALIBU COKE」は他の曲と比べてかなりノリノリでライブでぜひ一緒に盛り上がりたい曲。
いつか青空に下で乾杯して大勢の方と聞きたい曲に仕上がった。

The 14th digital single for the KureiYuki's band has been released with vocalist yui!

Last year, in the afternoon of a midsummer day when the highest temperature was about to be recorded, Kafu Satoh, Kurei Yuki, and yui were in the studio for recording.
Yui humming "How about this melody with that cord?"
"That's great!" Kafu playing the guitar
"If so, how about these lyrics?" Kurei

Later on bass OKP-STAR, keyboard Yuji Sugimoto (WEAVER) added more and there for the song was completed!

This song was co-written by yui and the KureiYuki's band.
This is the third song released with yui, "Michi" released in July last year, "Goodbye Say Goodbye" released in November, and this time MALIBU COKE is quite groovy compared to other songs.
A song that you might want to hear at a music festival.
