The Crunch Box was first introduced to me back in 2008 by my friend, Peter Wanliss. That introduction was the catalyst for the next 5 years of pedal obsession and the resulting Youtube activity that I've chosen to pursue. So it was with a certain fondness that I held Michael Ibrahim's new Super Crunch Box.

This update offers 3 different clipping modes, HI/LO gain control and external tone controls. It rocks, as you would expect.

The original Crunch Box has been a standard go-to since its inception when face-melting-Plexi-style-distortion tones are the order of the day. And with good reason. The Super Crunch Box takes that theme and expands on it greatly.

Some deft manipulation of the new and very welcome controls will let you run the Super Crunch Box as a low gain overdrive all the way through to a lava spewing brootz box. Which is exactly why I love it.
