June 19, 2018: Today’s HIQA Tusla Report proves that the agency is not fit for purpose to protect our children. Despite hiring 250 new staff, there was only a net gain of 18 due to the high numbers of staff that have left the agency – yet 4000 children are waiting for a social worker, leaving them at risk.
