CAMINO DE SANTIAGO Portugues • Short Film

SANTIAGO DI COMPOSTELA, the much desired destination is right in front of my eyes! There are too many words going through my head right now... I tried to wait a few days to be able to metabolize but life, the real life, doesn't wait.
On the camino I had become accustomed to living day by day, hour by hour, enjoying every single moment flowing through my blood. From my feet to the top of my head, giving me an incredible adrenaline rush, which took me step by step to the goal. I feel truly lucky to have faced this adventure as I had previously set out to do. Without thoughts, without having organized anything. Leaving my comfort zone and facing the stupidest anxieties that a trip like this makes you face.
I lived every single moment with the joy of a child, meeting fantastic people, who taught me a lot (each of them). I was overwhelmed by an immense positive energy, which I can hardly explain. It's like a flow runs through me. More than once I wanted to scream, cry, laugh and run and I did all this with immense joy, without thinking twice. I sincerely thank all the people who were part of this, I thank all the fantastic places I visited, I thank every single animal I met and caressed along the way and above all I thank myself, for not giving up even for a fucking second. Every hug received, every look, every laugh, every word, every gesture have entered me and will continue to be part of it.
Probably none of you will have read this far, but if you have, I thank you, because it means that what I have done and am doing has somehow left a mark on you too.
The most important thing I learned on the journey is to live every day as if it were the last... because the cathedral is very beautiful, but the whole road I took to get there is even more beautiful.
My first camino ends on the roof, with the awareness of continuing to do what I love and living this life in the best possible way. BUEN CAMINO
