今回は宮大工の伝統的な技術である「台持ち継ぎ」という継手の作り方の動画です。
今回は手道具だけで作ってみました。
台持ち継ぎは主に成材の高さの異なる桁や梁、さらには丸太梁などを継ぐのに適した継手です。
This video shows how to make a joint called "Daimochi Tsugi," which is a traditional technique used by palace carpenters.This time, I made it using only hand tools.
This joint is suitable for joining girders and beams of different heights of lumber, and even log beams.
