How to film SLOW MOTION (Beginners) and Sony A6500 Settings | TIPS

Описание к видео How to film SLOW MOTION (Beginners) and Sony A6500 Settings | TIPS

I know, I know I, I know, I am LATE!! But go ahead and open this box and read on if you are a beginner wanting to learn about how to shoot slow motion footage with dslrs, mirrorless cameras, compact cameras, GoPros and even your phones…. Please :)

I watch a lot of YouTube videos ranging from travel videos, vlogs, how to videos, parenting videos, basically anything that ends up auto playing letting me waste hours and hours!

There is one common theme and thats peoples videos who have jittery, stuttery, choppy slow motion footage.

There are actually rules to follow if you want to do slow motion the right way and in this video I show and explain the difference between frame rates and setting your shutter speeds to make sure your slow motion footage is recorded right.

If you follow along in this slow motion how to video, you too will end up with buttery smooth cinematic slow motion footage and its much easier than you may think.

If you have a camera or phone capable of shooting in 50fps or higher, you too can achieve beautiful slow motion footage.

If you don’t you can always try Twixtor as an alternative way of slowing down your footage:

As I mentioned in this video this is the variable ND filter by Tiffen that I use on my lenses which helps me to achieve slow motion on my Sony A6500:
