In the early 2000s, Tulku Tsori Rinpoche arrived in South Florida with little more than robes, prayers, and boundless compassion. And yet, with quiet humility, he opened the door to the Buddha Dharma for hundreds—many for the first time.

In living rooms, backyards, and modest temples, he offered blessings, teachings, and a spiritual presence that left a permanent imprint. Among those deeply moved were Willy Chirino and Lissette Álvarez, whose beautiful testimonies speak to the profound power of Rinpoche’s presence.

Today, Tulku Tsori Rinpoche has passed—leaving this world on November 1, 2021—but his mission lives on through the Tsori School for Tibetan Children and the Mainpat Monastery in India.

There, 45 Tibetan refugee children, most of them orphans, are fed, clothed, educated, and raised in the Dharma every single day. Supported by a small team of teachers and former students, they carry forward the very seeds of compassion that Rinpoche planted here in the West.

But the monastery and school are in urgent financial need.
Monthly operating costs exceed $4,000 USD, and there is no major sponsor—only the hope that those who were blessed by Rinpoche will now help repay the blessings they received.
