Quick Demo - IPSec VPN (Static Routing) Between OCI and Azure (No Fastconnect, No BGP)

Описание к видео Quick Demo - IPSec VPN (Static Routing) Between OCI and Azure (No Fastconnect, No BGP)

Hi,

Today I will show you how to set up a vpn connection between azure and oci using static routing
Not with express route, fastconnect etc..
conventional vpn..

I already have my network and virtual network gateway set up in azure because it takes quite a long time to provision on azure...

The rest is within the video..
The documentation can be found here:
https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Co...

After the steps in the video are done make sure you do the following to enable traffic on the OCI side..

1. Go to the DRG and attach it to the related VCN with
"Create Virtual Cloud Network Attachment"

2. Go to the DRG Route Tables and fix the static routes for both the records
Add the static routes to the OCI networks as the target..

Autogenerated Drg Route Table for RPC, VC, and IPSec attachments
Autogenerated Drg Route Table for VCN attachments

Destination CIDR: (the cidr block on OCI)
Next Hop Attachment Type: Virtual Cloud Network
Next Hop Attachment Name: The attachment to VCN name you have given

3. Finally go to the VCN on OCI to the "Dynamic Routing Gateways Attachments"
Configure the route table..
Add the routes to Azure with the DRG as the target

Target Type: Dynamic Routing Gateway
Destination CIDR Block: Your Azure CIDR Block
