Our first attempt at this school year's Classroom Connection "Match-up Series!" We are carrying over the concept from the last couple years— this is a game show type of debate that allows us to have some fun while reflecting on learning. How did we do?

These 7th grade students discuss influences on middle school life and reflect on social health in particular.

CONVERSATION QUESTIONS:
Question 1: Group Work
Do 7th graders receive enough time to socialize during class, or should teachers plan more group work?

Question 2: Social Life
Are teens still active with friends outside of the school day, or does this generation isolate themselves and spend too much time alone?

Question 3: Social Influences
What influences middle schoolers more— family or friends, and why?

Question 4: Bonus Question!
Pause Time vs. Rewind Time. Which would be better— the ability to stop time for as long as you’d like, or the ability to go back in time and relive the past?
