Saving Private Ryan (RE)SCORED - Opening scene

This is a piece of music I composed as a personal project to fit the D-DAY opening scene from Saving Private Ryan directed by Steven Spielberg and scored by John Williams.

Although its soundtrack is immensely rich and beautiful (as always with J.T.Williams), this scene, as well as all battle scenes in this movie, has originally no music and only sound FX, which increases the dread and horror of the WWII skirmishes depicted in it. But it was an interesting opportunity to score an incredible action scene without having to remove all sound effects when removing audio.
