But something felt wrong—an unease I couldn’t shake, like I wasn’t the only one here. Every creak of metal seemed to echo louder than it should, as if the platform itself was alive, waiting for something.
Then, the radio crackled to life, but there was no one on the other end. No answer, just static and an unmistakable whisper: "Get out." I thought it was the wind playing tricks on me, but when the banging started beneath the rig, I knew it wasn’t. Something was down there. Something was moving, and it wasn’t human.
I tried to leave, but the platform seemed to stretch, the hallways longer than I remembered. And that's when I saw it—standing at the edge of the platform, a figure too tall, too wrong. It didn’t move, just stared into the darkness with hollow eyes, and then—just as quickly as it appeared—it vanished. But I felt it… still watching me, waiting.
