Exploring the Bisti Bad Lands, in New Mexico. This was done as a day hike from a base camp made near the entrance. There are no parking spaces, water(nor to filter), and no trails. So, a map and a compass is recommended, and letting people know where you will be and how long. That said there's a sign in sheet at the opening area. This is also located near Navajo territory.
