For our Day 3 Update, we take you to the Liboganon coastline which is some kilometers away from the Energy Park in Tagum City. This is the site of the Water and Aquatics Fun. Daring the heat of the sun, 3600 scouts everyday are up for the challenge of learning the rudiments of the Safe Swim Defense Plan, developing competencies in swimming and life saving, creating improvised floating devices for water safety, survival and rescue and strengthen their physical fitness. ‪#‎JamboTagum2015‬

Through the years, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) has played and continues to play a primordial role in the community and society as a youth organization that encourages and helps young people develop their individual potentials and capabilities and raise their level of awareness and importance of their responsibilities for social development.

The 16th National Scout Jamboree, conducted only once in every four (4) years, is the biggest Scouting event of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines for CY 2015, gathering more than 21, 000 Scouts and Scout Leaders all over the country for a week of fun-filled activities, outdoor adventures and education. The Jamboree is hosted by BSP Tagum City Council and the City Government of Tagum.
