Yes campaigner Noel Pearson was “settling petty scores” or often “making no sense at all” during his National Press Club address, according to Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“I have to say, Noel, if that vindictive and sometimes nonsensical speech is your best argument for the Voice? Dear god,” Mr Bolt said.

Mr Pearson spoke to the National Press Club on Wednesday as he explained how a vote in favour of the Voice referendum would be more beneficial.

Mr Pearson declared a Yes vote in the Voice to Parliament referendum would give Indigenous Australians the tools to take responsibility for their own “destiny”.

“This was a very pro-Voice crowd, very forgiving, and not one journalist there asked Pearson the key question,” Mr Bolt said.
