Directed by James Gunn, this DC Universe reboot stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The movie skips the usual origin story and drops us into a Superman who is already a hero, struggling to balance hope, responsibility, and the challenges of a world that doesn’t always understand him.

I am pretty new to Superman, but I really enjoyed this movie! I wasn't sure how well I would catch on to everything happening in this story, but I was able to pick up on things pretty quickly and easily.

I really enjoyed how much heart James Gunn brought to the story. The quieter character moments between Clark and Lois felt genuine, and Corenswet’s Superman is hopeful and relatable in a way I didn’t expect. Hoult’s Lex Luthor is menacing but layered, and the action sequences are big and exciting without losing sight of the characters. Overall, the film had a perfect mix of humor, emotion, and spectacle, and it left me genuinely excited for the next chapter of the DC Universe.
