Vigo is the biggest city in Galicia in Spain and yet it is not really known by foreigners. Vigo is one of the best cities I have seen in Spain and it's time to create an awareness of Vigo and Galicia which is a real hidden gem of Spain.

Vigo has a lot of beautiful places. Simply walking around the center of Vigo will already make you fall in love with the city. Besides that Vigo also has a lot of green space in beautiful parks and a castle that has a lot of history to tell. To try some seafood is a must in Vigo. Make sure to visit the street of oysters and try some tapas of Vigo there.

And don't miss out on the most beautiful beaches in and around Vigo such as the beach O Vao, Beach Samil or the Rodas beach on the Islands Cíes.
