A very rare opportunity to describe the true life of a wild life ...the hawk was unable to catch seagull off because of its weight ... hungry hawk began to eat a seagull even though I shot the video 10 to 15 meters away ...

The seagull had previously eaten worms, but did not expect to be eaten by hawk...

The cold spring slowed down .....no little birds here, so the hungry hawk chose the seagull.

Eurasian sparrowhawk
The Eurasian sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), also known as the northern sparrowhawk or simply the sparrowhawk, is a small bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. Adult male Eurasian sparrowhawks have bluish grey upperparts and orange-barred underparts; females and juveniles are brown above with brown barring below. The female is up to 25% larger than the male – one of the largest differences between the sexes in any bird species. Though it is a predator which specialises in catching woodland birds, the Eurasian sparrowhawk can be found in any habitat and often hunts garden birds in towns and cities. Varpushaukka oli niin nälkäinen että salli kuvaamisen pellon laidassa n 10-15 metrin päästä, kylmän kevään seurauksena pikku lintuja ei ollut saatavilla joten Varpushaukan täytyi saalistaa pellolla matoja syömässä oleva lokki
