A woman who lived near the man who shot dead his former girlfriend and her new boyfriend in a Newfoundland and Labrador town before killing himself at a cemetery says Brian Dawe never got over the end of his relationship.Dawe, 43, killed Juliane Hibbs inside the clinic in the Villa Nova Plaza in Conception Bay South on Tuesday night, shortly before he killed Vince Dillon in the parking lot.Dawe later drove to the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road in nearby Mount Pearl, where he killed himself.
Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers searched the home Brian Dawe on Wednesday, before and after his body. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary labelled it a double murder-suicide.Marilyn Crotty, who lived near Dawe on Chaytor's Road in a quiet residential area, said her neighbour became a different person after Hibbs, 35, moved out a few years ago.The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says that Brian Dawe was wearing body armour and an AK-47 assault rifle when he used a handgun to shoot two people dead in Conception Bay South earlier this week before he killed himself.In a statement Friday afternoon, the RNC said Dawe also had hundreds of rounds of ammunition and a 9-mm handgun on him when they found his body at a cemetery in Mount Pearl.RNC, Dawe was in possession of the firearms legally, but the ammunition clips were above the lawful capacity. not long after his body was found at a cemetery in nearby Mount Pearl.Police have not released the exact number of firearms removed from his home.Police allege that on Tuesday night, Dawe shot Juliane Hibbs to death inside a medical clinic in the Villa Nova Plaza and then killed her boyfriend, Vince Dillon, who had been waiting in the parking lot.The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says three people are dead in a double murder-suicide.
Police confirmed Wednesday afternoon that the two shooting deaths in Manuels Tuesday night and the sudden death reported this morning on Kenmount Road were connected. Police said a 35-year-old-woman and 45-year-old man were killed at a doctor's office at Villa Nova Plaza last night, but said they would not disclose the identity of either person now. "The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary does not believe that there is a public safety concern as this matter was not a random act," reads the release. "The victims and the accused were known to one another."
The police statement says a tentative idenfication has confirmed the "person of interest" arrived at through its investigation was found dead on Kenmount Road, and that the firearm believed used in the shooting has been confirmed.

The RNC has left the Anglican cemetery on Kenmount Road in St. John's where there was a sudden death this morning.
A hearse pulled out of the cemetery, followed about 20 minutes later by a flatbed truck with a vehicle on it. The vehicle was covered in a tarp.
The RNC has not confirmed reports that the Anglican cemetery incident and the shooting last night at Villa Nova Plaza in C.B.S. are related.
