Drum Lesson - 19/16 and 21/16 drum groove explained, using Keep it Greasy, played by Vinnie Colaiuta

Drum Lesson - 2 lessons in one. The first part is demystifying 19/16 and 21/16. I use the famous groove from Vinnie in the Frank Zappa song Keep it Greasy to show why it's really not that difficult to play in 19.

At the 12 minute mark I switch to using odd groupings
to make 4 interesting fills, all in 4/4, but using groupings of 5's, 7's etc.
It's all really quite easy once you understand things just a little better.
I'm not saying you will play like Vinnie, no one can, but hopefully you understand some of these concepts just a bit better.
