In this talk Joia discusses the Fourth Estate and how to improve it. Joia Jefferson Nuri specializes in executive presentation
coaching, media training, and message strategies.
She has written keynote addresses, congressional testimony,
and five TEDx talks. In 2009 and 2013, Joia planned
Presidential Inaugural Galas. Her media work began as a
technician for NBC and CBS where she became the first
African-American woman to serve as Technical Director
of Face the Nation and the CBS Evening News. Later she
produced for BET, NPR affiliates and C-SPAN. In 2012, she
delivered a keynote address before Organization for
Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Austria and
she also testified before a House Subcommittee.
Joia serves as a political analyst on NewsOne Now with
