Описание к видео 🔴 Registers of 8085 Microprocessor | Bangla Tutorial | Lecturelia 🔴

Welcome to Lecturelia!
In this video, we explain all the Registers of the 8085 Microprocessor in a clear and simple way using Bangla. Registers are small, high-speed memory units inside the CPU that help in processing instructions efficiently — and understanding them is essential for students of CSE, ICT, or Diploma.

📌 What you'll learn in this video
0:00 – What are registers?
0:13 – Why are registers used in microprocessors?
1:14 – Main types of registers

📌 Watch till the end to get a solid grasp on how the microprocessor stores and manipulates data internally.

Registers in 8085 Microprocessor
A microprocessor is a multipurpose, programmable, clock-driven, register-based electronic device. It reads binary instructions from memory, accepts binary data as input, processes them, and outputs results. The 8085 microprocessor is a second-generation 8-bit processor and forms the foundation for understanding other processors.

(a) General Purpose Registers:
8085 has six general-purpose 8-bit registers:
B, C, D, E, H, L — which can be combined as register pairs:
BC, DE, HL for certain 16-bit operations.
These are used to store or transfer temporary data during execution.

(b) Special Purpose Registers:
Accumulator (A):
An 8-bit register part of the ALU, stores results of arithmetic/logical operations.

Flag Register:
An 8-bit register, where only 5 bits are used to represent flags:

Sign Flag (S): Set if the result is negative (bit 7 = 1).

Zero Flag (Z): Set if the result is zero.

Auxiliary Carry (AC): Set if there's a carry from bit 3 to bit 4 (used in BCD).

Not accessible by user.

Parity Flag (P): Set if the result has even number of 1’s (even parity).

Carry Flag (CY): Set if operation results in a carry (overflow of 8 bits).

(c) Memory Registers:
These are 16-bit registers, as memory addresses in 8085 are 16-bit long.

Program Counter (PC):
Holds the address of the next instruction. Increments after fetching each byte.

Stack Pointer (SP):
Points to the current top of the stack in memory. It’s incremented/decremented by 2 during PUSH/POP operations.
