Kudos to the brave crew of #IndianCoastGuard (ICG), who rescued 10 people, including 6 #Fishermen, stranded at Offshore #ChemplastJetty, about 2 km into the sea, off the coast at Chitrapettai village in #Cuddalore , amid adverse weather conditions (#CycloneFengal).

The 6 fishermen from Thaikkal Thonithurai village in Cuddalore district, who had ventured into the rough sea in private boats, along with four jetty workers, had become stranded at Chemplast Jetty after their boats were sank into the sea.

They were rescued by the Indian Coast Guard (@IndiaCoastGuard) following a request from the Tamil Nadu State Authorities on Thursday
