“Thinking Of You” was the most prominent hit to emerge from the Harry Ruby-Bert Kalmar song score for the Broadway musical “The Five O’Clock Girl.” In 1950 the tune was revived as a best-selling vehicle for both Eddie Fisher and Don Cherry due to its inclusion in MGM’s Ruby-Kalmar biopic “Three Little Words.”
