Indigo Series Information:
The Indigo series, first developed at Oregon State University in the early 2010s, includes five official varieties: Indigo Rose (2011), Indigo Cherry Drops, Indigo Pear Drops, Indigo Kiwi, and Midnight Roma (2021). These striking purple-skinned tomatoes are rich in anthocyanins, the same antioxidants found in blueberries, offering both beauty and added nutrition. Many mature in about 75 to 80 days, with flavors ranging from sweet to complex, and have inspired numerous other Indigo-branded hybrids now sold by seed companies.
