35 days ago I stepped off a plane to explore the wondrous, sprawling city that is you.
35 days later, I want to say, thank you.

Thank you for letting me see your neighborhood personalities.
Thank you for your lush green spaces to allow me time to think, rest, and relax.

Mexico City, thank you for holding on to sites from the past, that have become the current day's
treasures
Though I didn't appreciate it in the beginning, thank you for your 7200 feet to challenge my heart,
legs, and mind.

Mexico City, thank you for your smiles and laughs. Thank you for your patience and
understanding when I couldn't find the right spanish word, or things were lost in translation.

Thank you for your ever burning sunlight, and your beautiful sunsets.
Thank you for your cool mornings, and your warm afternoons.

Mexico City, thank you for filling my stomach, and dazzling my taste buds.

Thank you filling me with 35 days of experiences to remember you by.
And even though I'm saying good bye, know that it is only out of necessity so we can meet again.

Thank you, Mexico City.
