Goldfinders Video 1,2,3,& 4 is the combination of the first 4 videos made by us. The Minelab GP Metal Detector used here is made for mainly Gold hunting applications , but has no discriminator to distinguish between junk (Ferrous Metals or rusty bottle tops and fishing hooks) and precious metals Aluminium, Copper and Gold) before you dig up the target. Whites the TDI will give you an analogue like, or variable response to all different ground types and targets, the Minelab GP will not give a clear variable tone,- but in heavily mineralised ground conditions it is among the very best. But the VLF detector has one feature which makes them very popular with treasure hunters,- especially in the United States and that is the ability to completely ignore iron or ferrous targets while still detect non ferrous targets like silver Copper and Gold at reasonable depth. So in conclusion I would recommend a pulse induction Metal Detector if you intend to look for Gold nuggets,- because of their depth capabilities but no detector is of much use if you are in the wrong spot, and that is what this video is all about.
