Story of the Song: Kirtan songs are Traditional Devotional music of Bengal. This is a style of classco folk, that was derived from 'Prakirna' songs during 15th-16th century. In Bengal (eastern India) Bhakti Movement in medieval period was leaded by Vaishnav Saint Shree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He effectively used Kirtan songs for preaching Vaishnav Religion and philosophy. Many of vaishnav poets or padakartas wrote n numbers of lyrical poems based on the Lilas of Shree Krishna as well as Chaitanya Dev Mahaprabhu as an incarnation (Avtar) of Bhagvan Vishnu. Kirtan songs became more and more popular throughout eastern India for its richness in Lyrics, Composition as well as Philosophy. The composition of kirtan actually represent the heritage of bengali music. Today this precious music style is going extinct or distorted by improper history and learnings. This is our heart and soul effort to rejuvenate this treasure of Bengal. All songs we will preserve according to the authentic sources and Aesthetic approach.

This song is a famous Prarthana (prayer) Kirtan. Devotee is requesting to Lord Krishna, not to leave him whatever the situation come. Krishna should accept his devotee with all of their good and bad nature, right and wrong works. It is only Devotion, that removes all negativity of mortal soul.
