Tesla Cybertruck Road Trip Cross Country - OVER 5k Miles!! (Florida to the Arctic Ocean)

The Tesla Cybertruck is about to embark on a trip of a lifetime. From Florida all the way to the Northwest Arctic Ocean in Canada. This corner to corner North American road trip will take the Cybertruck over 5k miles, just to get to the start line before embarking on the ultimate challenge, the Dempster Highway.

The Tesla Cybertruck is the ultimate truck for this test as the Dempster Highway is notorious for destroying tires and cars as a whole. The Cybertruck was built to be literally bulletproof, sports one of the most sophisticated suspensions on the road, and packs a punch with durability features not found in other trucks on the road.

The Dempster Highway, coupled with the expansion in 2017 all the way to the Arctic Ocean in Tuktoyaktuk, is an unpaved road, built out of shale rock on top of permafrost traversing nearly 500 miles from Dawson City all the way up to the Arctic Ocean. Along the way are a few key stops including Eagle Plains, Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk. This unforgiving highway also features a unique challenge for EV's, it is has no chargers along the entire route.

In fact, after leaving Dawson City, there are no DC fast chargers, or even level 2 chargers anywhere along the route. This makes the trip nearly impossible. But that has not stopped adventure seekers from giving the Dempster a run for its money. In fact several EV's have successfully traversed the Dempster with the assistance of industrial outlets dedicated to equipment like welders and heavy commercial equipment.


Before we can embark on this once in a lifetime adventure, the journey must begin in Orlando, nearly 5k miles away from Dawson City. Along the way, there are several stops that must be made to collect important gear for the trek. So join me as I make the trip north into Canada and West towards the start line of this epic adventure!
